Pop up not showing in IE 11

    On a site the pop-up boxes show in Google Chrome, Firefox and MS Edge. Is does not in Internet Explorer 11.

    So I have setup an fresh WP install on a testsite on the same server as the prior mentioned site. It has the default twentyseven theme active an no other plugins, only Boxzilla. See boyinabubble.nl/test

    The Sample box, that comes with Boxzilla shows in Chrome, Firefox and in Edge. Not in IE 11.
    Also tried to change the animation from xx% scroll to xx seconds on site. The issue persists.

    Wordpress 4.8.3
    Boxzilla: 3.1.21
    Default Sample box
    Test mode is selected

    I am reading on this forum that more users have issues and also read about the thread that it was tackled in a specific version of the plugin.

    In addition to this.

    On the boyinabubble.nl testsite the Sample box does work on another (older) PC in IE 11 (same update version 11.0.47)

    But on the original site, where I encoutered this first, the box does not work.
    So I am puzzled.

    Thanks for all the detailed information!

    Test site works for me in IE11 so I can’t reproduce this issue.

    What is the original site with the issue, so I can test there as well?

    Thank you for your reply.
    The original site is http://www.eddywenneker.nl (there is a box on the bottom right after you scroll 25%.)

    Ok, that box indeed doesn’t work in my IE11 either.

    I noticed this in the console:

    It’s a shot in the dark, but who knows, maybe it’s related…

    Also, as a test, could you change the trigger to time on site or something else and see if this issue is related to the scroll trigger in IE11 or if it doesn’t work with any trigger at all.

    Good you found those. They were not showing up in my console in Firefox. I have corrected those. (missing </div> and )
    After that I found when testing that in IE 11 the box appears when choosing the trigger time on site. The scroll trigger does not!

    This works for me.

    I’m just glad that it isn’t another IE11 bug in our plugin… We developers are not a big fan of IE11. 😉
