• The plugin marked almost all images as “In Use,” including many newly uploaded images that had never been added to any page, post, gallery, template, or Oxygen Builder element.

However, when opening the details of the same images, the plugin showed:

    0 locations found
    Not Used
This file was not found in any post, page, or meta.

Despite this clear result, the images were still not included in the unused-media list and were counted as used in the main overview. Re-running the scan and refreshing the page did not fix the problem.

Because the overview and the individual image details directly contradict each other, the results are unreliable and the plugin cannot be safely used to identify or delete unused media.

Thank you for this detailed report — you’ve found a real bug, and your description helped us locate it. The bulk scanner used a looser matching rule (bare attachment IDs in metadata) than the per-file detail view, which caused exactly the contradiction you saw: false “In Use” in the overview while details correctly showed 0 locations. We’re unifying both views onto one detection engine and adding a “why is this marked used” indicator so results are verifiable. Fix is targeted for v1.0.2 within [timeframe]. If you’re willing, I’d be glad to have you verify the fix — and either way, thank you for testing thoroughly before deleting anything, which is precisely how the plugin is meant to be used.
