Support » Plugin: Jackmail Newsletters » Poor Newsletter Plug in

This plug-in was itself hard to use, the UI is slow and confusing. In the end after making a full newsletter design with their builder (which I initially thought was quite good) the emails didn’t actually work, after trying to understand a useless tutorial they have about setting up the DNS so emails come from your domain (which shouldn’t be called a tutorial if you use Cpanel) I gave up because in outlook the template looked completely different to what I designed in their actual builder.

Use Mailchimp, it’s SO much BETTER.

    Hi Danno57,

I’m sorry to see you didn’t succeed using our plugin.
However, did you ever catch us on our livechat support, or even try to give us a call?

Having troubles happens, but if you don’t ask us for help, we’re not fortune teller.

Explains us your DNS trouble. Where is your domain hosted ? Did you reach them also ?

Well, I supposed we should consider this review as a fake one since no one’s answering our multiple replies.

My review is no fake, what a company you are to presume such a thing and try and hide the fact your module has problems. I’m sorry but I merely just couldn’t be bothered to reply as I’m using Mailchimp successfully now.

Here’s some constructive criticism, somebody who uses your plug in shouldn’t need to contact you to get the DNS system working so that emails come from your own domain. The tutorial you have isn’t detailed enough, it needs to be thorough and be for most hosting panels as they are all quite different. Another thing; you shoudn’t charge a token for each test email sent either.

You’re having a DNS issue. If you ever tried to reach us, maybe we could have give you some hint about how to set it, no ? 🙂

We can’t provide a detailed tutorial for every hosters in the world. Our plugin is very young and we will add a lot of tutorials as soon as possible, yet we couldn’t cover every hosting panel possible.

We’re providing free support even if you’re on a free version.
