The image quality of the original image I use for the “MetaSlider” plug-in is good, but inserting the image into this plug-in degrades the image quality of the image.

How do I make high quality sliders with “MetaSlider”?

If you look at the settings area, top right, you can adjust the slide width and height. You should set the width to the max width you want the image to be cropped at. If your site width is 2000 then use that. Default is 700px which might be too low?

Alternatively, you can disable the cropping altogether under the advanced settings area.

Let me know if that helps.

    Hi,kbatdorf
    Thank you for your advise.

The trouble is that the image grows abnormally. I want to create a high quality image slider with “MetaSlider” while keeping the image at a specific size.

When I tried this method, the image quality improved. However, the size of the slider is too large. I want to make it a little smaller.

    Hi @testgoodman

With the width x height you just need to match it to the dimensions you want. If the max width of slideshow should be 1200 then you set the height to the relative height. Then the slideshow will scale down proportionally. Example, if you have it at 2000px width and 500px height, when the browser is at 1000px, the height will be 250px.

If this isn’t happening then it could be a rogue style from your theme interfering.

Disabling cropping will use the original image as you uploaded it, so you would be reliable to crop it yourself exactly how you would like.

If you have a URL I can take a look.
