The update to version 1.17.2 has caused serious problems on our site. A huge amount of H5P content files are no longer working after the update. Some files only start working again if we open them, click Edit, and then Save them again manually. That may be manageable for a few files, but it is completely unrealistic when you have thousands of H5P activities.
Several content types are now broken or blank. Memory Games are blank, and many others also fail to display correctly. To make matters worse, we had to manually rename dozens of folders in order to get the update to recognize some content types again. A stable update process should not require this kind of intervention.
There were also no clear warnings about incompatibilities before these versions were released, and there was no reliable migration path from older library versions to newer ones. For users who upgraded in good faith, this has created a huge amount of extra work and frustration.
Right now, this is not a smooth upgrade path at all — it is a serious disruption. I am convinced that we are not the only users affected. I sincerely hope future updates are tested and delivered in a way that avoids breaking existing content and putting this burden on users.

We are experiencing the same issue where many quizzes stopped working and just show the tittle. It happened after updating the “Drag and Drop” library. After that, all flashcard quizzes stopped working and some with “drag and drop” stopped working too. I can still open the flashcards and see the content if I hit “edit”, but once I save it, it says “unabletocopy” and won’t show the quiz.
I updated the plugin to the new version that was released, but the issue persists. I am glad most of the quizzes for “fill in the blanks” and others are still working. I am grateful for the work you guys do with this plugin. It is really great for education, definitely the best we have added to our site, so I certainly hope that the issue is fixed in the short term. Fingers crossed!
