• Hi everyone,

I’ve been followed this thread and by using Chouby’s suggestion to the OP I was able replicate something as the figure in the this link.

However, the goal 1) I want is to put the language switcher inside the navbar instead below. If it is somewhat difficult to achieve this I would be okay with that.

    2) If there’s any possible to styling the switcher: the selected language is having different color than others?

    Hi
Could you provide a link to your website? Which theme do you use?

I want is to put the language switcher inside the navbar instead below.

Read the getting started to see how add your language switcher: 4 – CREATING MENUS ❺

    Does it work now?

Tried that before and it didn’t work.

The language switcher at the menu isn’t really a switcher as it don’t have dropdown option, instead, it display the language that had set for the current page only.

I can live with that if it couldn’t be done with just some snippet. 🙂

How about goal 2)? Do you have any idea in styling my current switcher that I have which I hope to achieve?

    Thanks for your time.

Another way to build easily a language switcher that looks as a dropdown: http://nimb.ws/jsfe9H

You can also use the pll_the_languages. It can display a dropdown but without flags like this.

If you want that kind of language switcher please ask to the Customizer support where you must put the pll_the_languages function.

Then I will help you to set it.

Wow..the first one certainly did the trick.

Plus, I read the polylang documentation from your link and found I actually can play with the language list with the argument.

Anyway I think I am good with that set up and wouldn’t want to go through any more hassle as the my site is far too long delay than it’s deadline.

    Appreciate for helping me through.
    Thank you once again.
