 * Hello,
    I’m trying to add translation to the home page custom boxes and slider
   in this theme. I found this post: [https://theme4press.com/support/topic/bootstrap-translation-in-evolve-theme/](https://theme4press.com/support/topic/bootstrap-translation-in-evolve-theme/)
   from someone who did it successfully
 * And while there were problems with the xml validation (quotes, etc), I fixed
   them and validated, created my own wpml.config.xml file, made sure there wasn’t
   one in the original theme, saved it in wp-content/polylang
 * Then I tried to change and save one of the fields I was looking for, as I saw
   from reading the support threads that some of these values weren’t stored until
   customization changed.
 * I’m still not seeing these in the strings translation tab. Here are my synchronization
   settings:

 * and here is my wpml-config.xml file:

 * This is solved, found the solution at this post:
    [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/translation-issues-with-polylang-plugin-in-evolve-theme/page/2](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/translation-issues-with-polylang-plugin-in-evolve-theme/page/2)
 * I didn’t notice, but key_name was changed from evolve_theme to evl_options in
   an updated version of the theme.
 * All working now. I’m sure this may change again in the theme files, but for now
   it’s working for me.
