# Polylang issues

 * I’ve been working on a redesign of my blog with Kadence for several days, because
   it seemed like a very good and powerful alternative to me. Unfortunately, the
   dream quickly became a nightmare when I realized that Kadence is not multilingual
   compatible… which is not mentioned anywhere. By adding the Polylang “languages”
   button in a Kadence menu, it simply doesn’t work… and most of the theme’s “strings”
   are not translatable. It surprises me that such a popular theme is not multilingual
   compatible, because it seems to me a very basic option in 2026 that is available
   with almost all themes. The only references I found on the web about this are
   from several years ago, and people back then already had these problems…
