    Hi,

Awesome work, I’ve been using Relevanssi plugin for about one week and it really does the job. Thanks!

I just notice a couple of things that I think would be an opportunity to improve the Polylang integration. When using both plugins together:

    – The “user searches” page shows a list of the “queries” and the link does not respect the original “url”, so we don’t know the language used during the search.

    – When Polylang is enabled the “stopwords” list (natively supported) is not loaded automatically.

    Best regards.

The log doesn’t store information about the language, so it can’t be displayed in the user searches page. The log just stores the search query. This is unlikely to change.

The way the stopwords list is currently built, it’s difficult to switch it on the fly based on the current language. Relevanssi just uses the default language stopwords. Fixing that would require fairly extensive changes to how Relevanssi manages the stopwords.

The stopwords are currently stored in a separate database table. I’ve been thinking about moving them to an option. If I do that, then it would be easier to use multiple sets of stopwords for different languages and use the correct one depending of the language of the post, but then that would require changes to the interface so that the admins can manage the multiple stopword sets and so on, so it’s a fairly big deal and unlikely to happen any time soon.

    Thanks for your fast response.
I understand, just put it in the “would be nice” list.
