Polylang don’t traduce the content in twenty-seventeen’s panels

    hi

    I’m a polylang user from some webs. I’m very satisfied with the plugin. I like a very simple and efficient things and polylang is a good example of it but…

    I can’t find the way to translate the content of twenty-seventeen panels. This is normal? How it’s possible? I think i have not any mistake…

    Twenty-seventeen panels is a front-page.php feature.

    If you want to translate a theme you have to use PoEdit or Loco Translate.

    No. I want to translate the content within the panels. The panels show an extract of choosen pages. These pages have a translated versions but, when it changes the language, polylang don’t show these versions

    Sorry for the delay!

    The mistake was mine. While I was customizing the theme that comes by default I had an oversight with the textdomain. In these moments I am still enjoying this fantastic Plugin as a translation manager, including the use of panels.

    Hi,

    As I said before, the error was caused by improperly modifying the textdomain of the template, since it is the hook wordpress uses to manage translations. The correct use of the textdomain depends on the template you are using. If the template is yours, I advise you to review it well, if the template is from third parties, I would like you to contact them. (text translated by google translator)
