Polylang admin options missing on live site

    Hi!

    I’m using Polylang to have the website I’m doing in english and italian. The plugin version is 1.5.6 (I’ve tried with the latest one and nothing changed) with WP 4.0.1.
    I’ve used Polylang several times before and it was fine. Very easy-to-use.

    However, this time I’m having redirecting problems with the homepage, which causes 404 errors. I saw that I should have this option ON – “Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks” in fact I had that in the offline version of the website.

    However, on the live version I don’t have that option available on the Polylang Settings.
    I even deleted wordpress and uploaded again. I also deleted polylang and installed another version. Nothing changes and I don’t know what to do.

    I need pretty permalinks for SEO and also because it’s better fot the user.

    Hello
    Could mention your permalinks settings and your Polylang settings.
    Which plugins do you use? Could you provide a link?

    Edit:
    1)In Settings > Permalinks: uncheck “Default”
    2) and go in Settings > Reading > Front page displays: select “Static page”.
    3) Settings > Languages > Settings tab: “Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks ” appears.
    Is it OK for you?
