Love your poll plugin. Very easy to use and manage polls. We created one for our website that is generating a lot of attention.

Last night the poll results headed off in the different direction. After reviewing the IP logs it appears someone from Richmond, VA was able to vote multiple times. I am guessing he is using some sort of IP blocker or randomizer as the IP address are only slightly different but all from the same general location. I’ve provided a screenshot of my IP log.

My question is there anyway to prevent this. I know I can make everyone register to vote but if I do that very few will take the time to fully register just to vote so our poll results will be very limited. Can I edit out this one dude causing the problem somehow or block him?

    Thanks for the help.

If he is doing it on purpose, blocking it will not solve the problem. Because there is a lot of IP to block and once the IP is block, he will just switch IP.

I have no solution for you beside making it registered user to vote only.

Thanks for the response Lester. Is there anyway for me to edit the poll results to remove the input from the guy that voted 30 times?

    Unfortunately, nope.
