# Poll hack problems

 * Hi,
    Just trying to install Gamerz poll hack. It looks excellent on the sites
   I have seen using it BUT I can’t get it to work!! All installs ok then when I
   try to add the following to my index.php vote_poll(); and
    -  <?php get_polls(); ?>
 *  I get this message every time.
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: vote_poll()
   in /nfs/home/myaccount/public_html/index.php on line 5 Has anyone else had this
   problem? Sorry if this post doesn’t read correctly…first time I have tried to
   include code….

 * shadow, it might be a good idea to link to the hack you are using, and a page
   where it does not work, for folks like me who feel disinclined to search for 
   the hack and then find a solution to your problem. 🙂

 * My site is at [http://www.os42.com](http://www.os42.com) but I have taken out
   the references listed above which cause the problem. It disables my site so I
   don’t want it sitting there until I have it sorted out.
    ‘my-hacks.php’ is still
   in place and I have the ability to use the poll function in my admin. The error
   only occurs once I have added the above to my index.php. Hope this helps.

 * where is the hack file at? is what I meant, shadow. It helps to know where you
   got gamerz hack from.
