Hi, We are using WP Polls to do a ballot. We have 3 checkboxes and user can check up to 3. This seems to work fine for admin level users, but regular subscribers are failing. We used this same plugin with same setting last year with no issues. Plugin and WP are up to date.

When it fails, we aren’t getting any error message, it just shows the homepage content where the results should be, and a running “Loading” icon under that.

The only warning/error type thing i see when i look at the Console is “jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 [Deprecation] Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user’s experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.” I only see this when it fails, but don’t know if related.

Users and Guests are allowed to vote.

You won’t be able to access the page without an ID/pwd, but I’d be glad to provide if that would help.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi! Is there any update on this? We really love your poll, and we ended up having to give all users temporary Admin access to the site to get the poll to work for this year’s elections (which obviously is NOT a good solution!). We’d like to use this plugin for next year, so any help is appreciated.
    Thanks!

I have a feeling it might be a plugin conflict with your plugins. The plugin doesn’t take into consideration whether if you are an admin or subscriber when voting. As long as you are logged in, you will be able to vote. Is your subscribers role assigned via WP itself or some other plugins?
