# Points don't seem correct

 * With the inclusion of Points Totals, I noticed they don’t seem correct. At least
   for my installation.

   this is my profile.
 * Just this one award that I have earned has a points allocation of 950 yet the
   widget is only showing 430.
 * Any ideas?

 * another member sent this in from their profile, showing 0 points despite having
   5 badges that each have points attached to them.

 * Did you earn the award before or after the point total was assigned? I’m wondering
   if adding the points for the badge doesn’t update point values for all who already
   earned it.

 * All the points were assigned to all badges on creation and publication of the
   badge.
    You can see from the second example that every badge for this member 
   has had no points given for any of the badges – and the majority of these were
   created when I first installed BadgeOS.
 * So far all my badges are issue once and can be achieved once, though the I do
   have one that expires after 90 days.

 * Meaning say you create a badge, but don’t assign any point value to it. 3 people:
   Joe, Sarah, and Aleah, all end up earning the badge. A week later, you decide
   to assign a point value to it, so you go click “edit” and give the badge a value
   of 100 points and hit save.
 * Do Joe, Sarah, and Aleah suddenly get 100 points more as they’ve already achieved
   it? Or is it just anyone else after you hit save that get the points. Something
   the BadgeOS devs may want to make sure happens, even if it doesn’t apply to your
   specific case above.
 * Regarding the point discrepancy, the widget calls a function that simply fetches
   a meta field on each user that stores the point total. So logically the issue
   is elsewhere and why the meta field isn’t getting updated.

 * OK, all created badges (of mine) have had points attached to them from the very
   beginning so any member that has achieved a badge should have had points allocated
   for each and every badge.
