# Pointing to wrong link

 * I had a blog – pblog – and changed it to wordpress (default folder). I tried 
   updating the link in the admin to point to pblog and now, not only does the link
   work, but everything in my site points to pblog and I can’t get into the admin
   settings to change. I’ve also tried updating from a backup. Any suggestions?

    That was a bad idea.
   The twu URIs in the Options > General shouldn’t be used for “fantasy” addresses…
   they **must** point to your WP install. If you have access to your database via
