# Pointer to Gallery Images

 * Using WordPress 5.3.6. I cannot find the images in my gallery. I would like to
   change them. This gallery was added maybe a decade ago. Nothing is in the folder
   below.
 * wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery
 * Perhaps there is a file that points to the images in the media library. If so,
   I could change the pointers to different images. Is there such a file?
 * The reply [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/location-of-images-2/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/location-of-images-2/)
   indicates there should be a photo-gallery folder, not a slideshow-gallery folder.
   Should I start a new gallery, and if so, how would I make sure the new gallery
   would replace the old one?
