Hello, I am trying to create a real estate website on wordpress.
And I created the custom fields on Pods. And I need a custom search dropdown box.
I have installed the plugin Search & Filter, and pasted the code:

    [searchandfilter fields=”search,quartos,suites,bwc”]

But this fields are not showing on Search & Filter.

I am using Pod fields (not categories) in order to add custom fields.

Any idea how to make dropdown search using pods?

What kinds of fields are ‘quartos’, ‘suites’ and ‘bwc’? If these are relationship fields, they will not work with Search & Filter plugin.

The only Search/Filtering plugin that works with our Relationship fields is FacetWP with their Pods integration: https://facetwp.com/add-ons/pods/

If you are using those fields for ‘filtering’, you could configure those instead as Custom Taxonomies and then they will work just fine with Search & Filter.

    They are relationship fields.

I am trying to do a search like this:

    http://imobiliariaplena.com.br

for a real estate site. Custom dropdown using the Pods.
Do you know any plugin or code that integrates with Pods and Elementor?

You would need to use the FacetWP plugin I suggested above if you’re using Relationship Fields.

Elementor Pro wrote an interface for Pods but it also doesn’t support relationship fields, but you can call our shortcodes in their blocks and output templates for the relationship output in much the same way that we reference in our Grow Beyond Posts and Pages video:

    https://docs.pods.io/videos/grow-beyond-posts-pages-introduction-pods-framework/

I do not know if FacetWP integrates with Elementor. I do know they integrate very nicely with Beaver Builder and Beaver Themer.

Hello, On Elementor on dynamic fields I can show/display on single page the relationship and others that I create.
The problem is I want to create a custom search dropdown using the relationship that I created.

Can I “link” relationship fields to taxonomies in order to use on Search & Filter for example?

Thanks for the video I will watch now.

No, you cannot link relationship fields to taxonomies and use that in Search & Filter. You need to use Taxonomies for Search & Filter. As discussed above, if you need that functionality, you can use FacetWP for ‘relationship’ field filtering.

Filtering is ‘taxonomy’ based. That’s why you need to use a Taxonomy for filtering; that’s what Taxonomies are specifically for, grouping and filtering. Relationships are more for connecting post to post or object to object, ie connecting the individual Realtor to the Properties that realtor manages.

Organizing Properties into ‘like’ groups: Condos, Apartments, Single Family Dwellings, etc., that’s a Taxonomy.
