    Hi again

On front end, member (user?) profile page, we may see our membership status, and account details ; this is great.

It however appears that the pods custom field are not displayed there ; we may edit them on front end, as well as back end, but not “see them” from the front end profile page.

It’s most certainly only a theme “issue” but it would be great if the pmp pod plug in could inject the pods field into the profile template page, as it do on the profile edit page (or I assume this is what happens)

This could be available for member especially, but also memberhsip level and order, as they may be seen and track from front end.

    Thank’s for the great work

    Cheers

If you are using the Member Directory and Profile Pages Add On for displaying profile pages — that is a PMPro Plus Add On and you’ll want to reach out directly to premium support at https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/support/

We’ve been able to display fields onto profile pages using that Add On so if there are any issues it would definitely be a good idea to reach out directly there.

    Hi Scott,

    Thank’s for your investigation.

The fact is I do not use any PMPro Add On, si it really is the “basic” [pmpro_account] shortcoe/page that fails displaying the PMP-Pods fields, while, again it is all right with the [pmpro_member_profile_edit] shortcode/page.

It’ll try to reach them as they may help solve this as well, but at the moment it really seems to be a theme related issue ; mayne a full site editing ? issue, since it also fails with quadrat (from automatic) and other editor full site editing enabled theme (I tried a couple randomly)

    regards

i may provide you some admin access in private if you want to try out on my specific install and get more clues 😉
    ps :

I see what you mean here — This Add On does not currently automatically include this information in the Membership Account page itself, it only adds the information to the edit profile form.

I love the idea of making this easier but for now here’s a handy snippet you can use for this customization.

You can add this recipe to your site by creating a custom plugin or using the Code Snippets plugin available for free in the WordPress repository. Read this companion article for step-by-step directions on either method.

If you already have a customizations plugin, you can add this recipe to your existing plugin file. Please be careful not to copy the opening ?php tag as it will trigger a fatal error. Here’s a helpful article on How to Copy and Paste Custom PHP Recipes.

This Add On received an update (1.0.1) which introduces new group options that allow you to show your fields on the Membership Account page. This is automatic and won’t require any additional code, which means you could remove the snippet I suggested previously and it should just work.
