    Hey,

could you tell me how is the correct way to translate a pods overview page. For the overview I use a shortcode.
Do I have to add a language parameter or something for the english translation page?
The detail views already work perfectly but not my overview with the shortcode:
    [pods name=”xy” orderby=”order” limit=”100″ template=”XY-Template”]

On the german overview I see englisch and german pods and in the english website I see Stuff like this: ‘@post_title’

    Hi,

Did you contact the support off WPML as this isn’t a feature built in into pods and it’s hard to tell what’s going on?

Does it properly work on archive pages? without using pods shortcodes? I’m not sure it even works if you are using pods shortcodes maybe @kerawb kann add to it – at least he did some work to improve compatibility wit polylang!

    Hey,

I was able to fix the ‘@post_title’-issue, this was indeed just related to a little copy/paste mistake in the english translation of that template post.

But still it is showing both posts on the overviews. I see the english and german post content, and now also on the english overview.

    Hi @quix8

Are you able to translate the Pod Templates at all with WPML?
I know there is a filter for Polylang that enables you to do this but I’m not sure how this would work in WPML. You might need to enable translations for this post type..?
    Let me know!

    Cheers, Jory

    Hey,

yes the “post template” is translated aswell as the referenced post type and I also see the changes I made correctly, the only problem with the shortcode, that it will also output post data from both languages and not just from the selected languages post.

    Hello @quix8

    Sorry for my late reply.
Could you report a bug on GitHub and provide us with any info to reproduce your installation?

I m not sure if it is a bug at all. I think my setup with wpml should be pretty basic and I just wonder if the shortcode [pods name=””] SHOULD work?

I think a straight forward way to check this out is to take a look in my staging system, there I have the bug reproduced already, where someone could check it out.

I ‘m also willing to pay for this service. Is this possible? If yes, where can I send the login info? I could send FTP and WordPress admin.

    Hi @quix8

We cannot provide support by logging in to your installations, staging or production, due to WordPress support policies. In other words, we are simply not allowed.

That is why I pointed you to our GitHub so you can create a full bug report incl. the import packages.
It’s also easier to cross-reference other topics there.

    Cheers, Jory
