Podpress Importer missing?

  • Hi guys,

I’m trying to migrate a podcast into WordPress, using Podpress, but I find the podpress.php file in the import directory is missing.

Where can I get this file from?

  • There isn’t such an importer that comes with WordPress. I didn’t know one came with PodPress, but if it does it’s probably in the Optional_Files folder that comes with PodPress, and you’d put it where it needs to go, perhaps. Kind of guessing, I didn’t know it was used to Import, necessarily.

What are you importing from? Is it Posts, with Enclosures?

On the Podpress website forum (mightyseek.com/forum) they claim that the Podpress importer is part of WordPress, not with Podpress.

I’m trying to import an RSS file, with enclosures, to use Podpress. It seems like I’ll have to find a way to import it manually with SQL statements.
