I podcast and was using QuickBlogcast from GoDaddy for almost two years. I have decided to purchase a WordPress site to house my webpage, in which the podcasts and other links will be located. I had someone set up the WordPress page, and he was able to create a page and transfer all my other links to it fine.
I am now at the stage of transferring mp3 files into “pages” and am having difficulties. It seems pretty straightforward: I click on the page (I named it podcasts), and then click on add media. The mp3 file which I already uploaded is there. I highlight and insert it into page. It appears in the body, but when I click on podcasts , I get this message “Not Found Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”
But then, I go to “Media Library, : I see it and click, and it is there, with this image: “← Podcasts” That implies that it is in the podcasts…so I click “return to podcasts,” I get the same message “Not Found Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”
So I am thinking, I will just create another page and attempt to insert it that way. Well, I create another page and title it “Podcast Archives” and insert the media file. I view it, and the mp3 file is there…But, then I look at the home page, and the new page is not visible…
Any type of assistance is appreciated.
