I checked the support codex pages and it says podcasting is supported, and as long as I link to a mp3 using its full URL it should generate the enclose tag in the rss2 feed.

    howver, mine does not!

As you can see, I tried entering the enclosure tag manually within one of my test posts, but it didn't work, iTunes won't recognise it.

    What am I doing wrong?
Can I edit the rss feed tags so I can include the iTunes-specific tags, like copyright and the stuff?

Ps. What I'm trying to do is migrate from the libsyn system, I will still keep the files there but i want to have control over the rss feeds, amongst other things libsyn won't support spanish characters so everything looks quite crappy everytime I have to enter a local character.

I know, I added the custom tag "enclosed".

I would still like to add the custom itune tags to the rss feed, when i edit the rss2.php file and put a <itunes:copyright> tag for example, I get a xml parsing error.. how can I add this:

Rosa Vientos Podcast

La forma fácil de escuchar la Rosa de los Vientos en Internet

<?php echo mysql2date('D, d M Y H:i:s +0000', get_post_time('Y-m-d H:i:s', true), false); ?>

    I am having a similar problem. http://12tonestudios.net/podcast/?feed=rss2
does not work. I followed the instructions in the forum as to how to figure out your podcast feed URL which is clearly not the correct feed URL b/c he's the error I get when I try to validate it in iTunes.

line 50, column 14: Undefined dc_creator element: ADMINNICENAME [help]

line 50, column 31: XML parsing error: <unknown>:50:31: mismatched tag [help]

I even installed podPress plugin and filled in all the info I could. Its a great plugin, but why is it not made clear how to get your RSS feed URL to work right? there is no explanation....

Go admin > Users > Your profile and give yourself a "nickname".

Thanks so much for your help, I created a nickname. However I am still getting this error in regards to the comment feed, which doesn't really matter I guess?

This feed is valid, but may cause problems for some users. We recommend fixing these problems.

    line 62, column 3: wfw:commentRSS should be wfw:commentRss (2 occurrences) [help]

http://12tonestudios.net/podcast/?feed=rss2&p=6</wfw: ..

It has been posted several times: you can edit your rss2 file and change it from RSS > to Rss.
