Podcast player not showing on pages

The player and player information is not showing up on the Full Content pages. It shows up fine on the excerpt pages. The HTML with the player, length, download, etc information isn’t being returned when the page renders according to the network/sources information in Chrome, and it’s not working in Edge either. This behavior is consistent across all podcast pages.

Media Player Locations: Full Content, Excerpt (tried disabling and reenabling)
Media Player position: Above content (also tried Below)
Media Player visibility: Everyone
Media Player style: Standard Compact Player (tried changing this setting too)
All “Show…” options are selected.

I just checked the page and can see the player there. Have you managed to fix the issue already?

Hi Sergiy – no, it is not happening automatically like it used to. I have to manually add the Castos Player on the Edit panel for it to show up. I have done our most recent episodes, but unless there is a way to do it in bulk, with almost 300 episodes I am not going to get to the back catalog anytime soon.

Did it work before? If yes, when did it stop working?

Also, did you try changing the theme just to make sure it’s not the theme-related issue?

It did work before, and good call, it’s a theme problem. We are running the Blogrid theme, and it doesn’t show up, but when I previewed the Twenty Nineteen theme it did. Hmm.

The player requires ‘the_content‘ filter to be shown automatically.
Please ask your theme developers how they render the content. Usually, function the_content() is used for it, or at least such a string:
```
$content = apply_filters( 'the_content', $content );
```
