• I am using your excellent plugin for multiple podcast shows (series). While the individual URLS for podcasts work (e.g. example.com/series/podcast-name), when I hit the page example.com/series, I would expect it to show the list of all series (podcast shows), instead I get a page not found error. The page example.com/podcast has similar issues (I would expect it to display all podcast episodes, must mention that I do not create episodes using the plugin field but use normal “Posts” as episodes).

    Hi @debashish

Head’s up, with the release of version 2.14, Series are now Podcasts.

Do you have the Posts post type enabled under Podcasting > Settings > General?

yoursite.com/podcast should show your podcast episode archive, this page uses your theme’s archive.php template. What WP permalink structure are you using? Is this page getting an error as well?

As for yoursite.com/series, you should be able to create a new page titled series and query your various Podcasts to display an archive of your additional podcasts.

Hi Kelly, thanks for the reply.

Funnily mysite.com/podcast seems to work now, but the mysite.com/series doesn’t. I indeed have “Post” selected under “Podcasting > Settings > General”. I will try to create archive page for “series” as well.

Does the change of “series” to “podcasts” impact existing installations? Do I need to re-install the plugin, seems this will impact all my podcast links?

    Hi @debashish!

Regarding your question about expecting /series to show something – we give our users the freedom to show on that page anything they want. So, if you want to show the list of series, you can just create a new page with series slug, and provide there links (or links with images) to your podcasts using any builder – Gutenberg, Elementor, or any other.

Regarding your question “Does the change of “series” to “podcasts” impact existing installations?” – no, it doesn’t, old users can still use the series slug. But you can now change it to anything else here – Podcasting -> Settings -> General -> Podcasts slug.

I hope this helps but let us know if we can assist further.

    Best regards,
    Sergiy, development team.
