  • Hello @meganhyatt,

We haven’t seen any issues related to running SSP with 5.0.2. Your podcast player should still display on the episode page as expected without having to embed the player. It looks like you are using another page type with an embeded player to display your podcast vs. the page that is generated by your theme and used by SSP for the episode page. That page would look like https://getvictory.net/podcast/dead-to-sin-alive-to-god-pastor-ed-crenshaw/ for a single episode.

If that is the case, can you tell me what type of blocks you are using to embed the player and the shortcode that is being used? That can help us look at this issue further.

Regarding the episodes not being added to the feed, you will want to verify how many episodes are set to display under Settings > Reading Settings > Syndication feeds show the most recent to make sure that number is set to the appropriate number. If that is set correctly, you may have a conflict with a caching plugin and will want to make sure the feed is not getting cached.

I’m not sure how your screen shot is related, but I’m noticing dates of Jan 1 1970 which indicates to me that the media files are not uploading with dates. The database will the Jan 1 date when there is nothing present in the table. You can change that in PHP MyAdmin to reflect the correct date to be pushed to iTunes.

Hope that information helps get you started fixing the issue.
