I today started to use the ATUM stock manager and wanted to create my first PO. I have added a supplier and linked the supplier to the relevant products.

Now when trying to add the products to the PO with the “Add Product” button, I can only find and add the products with their ID in the database, not with their name or SKU. This is quite inconvenient with 500+ products in the database.

Is there a setting I need to switch on somewhere to search products by text? It seems to work in your demonstration video about purchase orders.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @lambonak

I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

It’s quite weird that you can’t search the products by their name. Please, I have to ask you to open a private ticket and provide us there with your website credentials in order to take a look.

This is the link to open the private ticket: https://stockmanagementlabs.ticksy.com/

    Best Regards,

Thanks but no thanks. Too many things were not working and I have uninstalled the plugin as a result. Sold items per period for the inventory forecast were under-reported in the Stock Manager for example.

What I think happened is an incompatibility between your plugin and the WPML plugin to serve multiple languages. My guess is that ATUM only looks in the products in one language, but doesn’t report information for products and orders which are in other languages or for which not a dedicated product page exist yet.

It is a pity because the functionality as described of the plugin is not bad, the code doesn’t seem to have matured enough though.

    Hi @lambonak

I’m sorry if ATUM didn’t work as you expected and it has not met your expectations.

Actually, Purchase Orders just work with the original language; so this is not an incompatibility, but a feature it has not been developed. I’m not sure if the first comment you put was in reference to a product with a secondary language.

In addition, ATUM is 100% compatible with WMPL so it counts the sales of all the languages, however, ATUM can have issues that we always try to fixed as soon as possible. Unfortunately, with the info you give us it’s not enough to be able to look for the possible problems.

    Best Regards,

    Andrea.

    HI @lambonak ,

Hope all is well and ATUM is working faultlessly.

We have not received any reply for three days, so we will close this post. If you need any further help, please, feel free to re-open it again.

    Best Regards,

    Andrea
