I entered trouble shooting mode on the default theme and only enabled Woocommerce and this plugin and the PO numbers still weren’t there on completed orders.
I’ve tested on my copy of WordPress, running 6.2.2 and WooCommerce 7.7.0, and this is what appears in the admin area.
I’m not sure how you could be experiencing anything differently based on this. When did it start happening? Do you have instances where orders do show the PO number in the admin?
So the PO number is there when the order is created and has the processing status. But once the order is set to complete the PO number vanishes in admin panel, if I put the status back to processing it doesn’t come back.
There is definitely PO numbers set as well as they are shown in the order confirmation email.

There is one other small thing, any orders that have been completed and lost the PO number still don’t have it there after the update. Is there any way to get them back?
Unfortunately not — at least, not automatically. If you still have the order confirmation emails for each one with the PO number included, you could manually edit the information to add the PO number back on to each one.
