• I created a PNG in photoshop with transparency, but when uploaded to WordPress through the default Media Library, it loses the transparency. This seems to be a fairly new problem, and all the other transparent images I have on the site are working just fine. I’ve attempted hanging to all pre-set dimensions, and a few other things I could think of, but so far, nothing has worked. Can anyone help me with this?

This is what it currently looks like, for reference

  • Can you share your live link. Seems like background might be applied from your theme’s css to that image. So image might be transparent, but theme have img.someclass{background:#ddd} or something like that which would be causing the additional background to your transparent image?
