I have Googled this for an HOUR. I have no answers. I don’t know what to do. Ever since I moved from free .wordpress.com to beng hosted and using wordpress.org, my images all turned into fuzzy jpeg looking things even though they were crystal on my free wordpress and they are crystal when I upload them or type the post.

I have the vortex theme, my site is http://eyelinerwingsandprettythings.com.

I am desperate–every pretty .PNG I upload turns into a fuzzy mess and I have no solution, if the answer is something to do with changing the CSS can someone explain how to do that? When I go to change CSS there’s nothing there, I uploaded my layout via uploading a compressed file.

Can you identify an image to us that has the issue?

For example, both images in this article.

It’s more prominent in the text/graphic.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I’m publishing blog posts twice a week for my company and always have a main image but decided to start adding images in the body of the blogs as well to add some visual appeal and break up the big blocks of text. I’m using the exact same process to create and size the images, but for some reason the main images look sharp and clear, while the images I place in the text body look fuzzy and grainy – after they originally looked sharp when I uploaded them.

I haven’t found any fixes for this yet either. Is this just a problem related to individual themes – so some themes have this problem and others don’t, with no explanation?

I still do not have an answer. That’s the same issue I have!
