PNG images corrupt in WordPress package?
-
I downloaded 2.0.2 and installed it today. I’ve done a number of WordPress and other similar AMP-based solutions, so am familiar with the system.
The problem I have appears to be with the PNG files that came with the WordPress package. The screenshots for the Default & Classic themes, as well as the WordPress logo – in other words, all teh png files – appear to be corrupted. They will not load in IE, giving the broken image (red X) instead, and Firefox says the image contains errors.
Attempts to re-save in Photoshop were fruitless, perhaps because I don’t know much about image formats and errors in same. Please help!!!
