PM Pro Roles Extension

Hi there,

I am using Paid Memberships Pro which came with a directory theme I use and I came across this (amazing! and very useful) extension: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-roles/

I have noticed that even though the Subscription user role is assigned after signing up, it is not removed when a subscription is cancelled.

Is there a way to make this happen?

A little background why I need to achieve it – I am using plugin Front-End PM and I can restrict access to messaging system by user role. I only want to allow access to paying customers who have an active Membership/Subscription. Once they cancel, I need to restrict access to messaging system and that’s why I would need the custom user role to be removed after a cancellation.
