I know there’s a label field that includes “with colon” for post types, I wonder if you could get it removed by tinkering with that field.
The link above leads to a 404 page for me.
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I see that. It is listed under additional labels/parent and it says “Used for hierarchical types that need a colon.” I have tried playing with that option but I dont see any changes. I did change the menu items and deleted the recipes page, thats why the link didnt work. The link to see the colon is at https://blestrecipes.com/dish_type/dinner/
I believe, for that spot, you’re going to need to edit your theme files to get that colon removed from the header spots. I’m now doubtful that are label spot is contributing to this.
Ok, I will check there. Thank you for your help.
Just one thing though … when I deactivate Custom Post Type UI the whole page-header disappears, so I am guessing it has to be a part of Custom Post Type UI.
I would have to believe that happens because the content type is no longer registered and thus it has nothing to render up at the top there.
We don’t do anything on the template/theme side, which is where this detail is coming in at.
Okay, I appreciate your reply. Thank you. I will mark this resolved and look for another solution.
Sounds like a plan, let us know what you find, I’m admittedly a bit curious at this point.
