Hi, I’ve been trying to find a definitive answer to whether or not I can somehow configure plugins settings in the network admin area after they have been network activate and have any subsequent settings changes be reflected on all sites in the network.

Is this even possible? Is there a plugin that can help with this that I have yet to come across?

    Thanks

Yes, but it depends what you want 🙂

Thanks Ipstenu, I’ll look into that plugin!

Here’s some more information, in case you have other suggestions:

We run a grouping of over 200 individual WP installations and are moving towards a multisite setup to make the maintenance much easier. Every site in this grouping use the same set of plugins, and share the exact same configurations.

I was hoping I could easily configure the plugins in the network admin area as to avoid small setting changes being done on a site-by-site basis. One example is the custom field template plugin, we often add new options for our site users in there, and import a new xml file into each individual site. Would be much more convenient to do it at a high level and know that it’ll be applied across the whole network.

If you have any others suggestions on stuff I should look into or read up on please let me know. If not, I’ll wait a little bit before closing up this ticket.

    Thanks

Wow, great plugin! Thanks for the tip Ipstenu! So far I’ve been able to set everything on the main site in the network and using the YD plugin options the configurations are being applied across all sites.
