Plugins on Multisite install – all showing regardless of activation

    Hello, I have a multisite install using sub-domains. When I install a new plugin as the Super Admin, the plugin shows under ALL sub-domains regardless of whether the plugin has been activated by the Super Admin or not.

    Thoughts?

    Hey there,

    This is normal Multisite behavior. If you do not “Network Activate” a plugin, as Super Admin, you will still see the plugins in the subsites and have the ability to activate them site by site.

    However, your normal admins do not see these if you uncheck the option to Enable Admin menu/Plugins in the Network Settings page. Hope this clears it up for you 🙂
