    Hi,

My plugins disappeared from plugins page a few weeks ago.
Any ideas why this could happen?

I tried switching temporarily to a default WP theme but it did not help.

    Your support is much appreciated.

What error do you see if you try to reinstall one of the missing plugins from Plugins > Add New in your site’s Dashboard?

I think you have installed any plugin which is conflict others.

enable the “debug” mode by editing “wp-config.php” file to check which plugin conflicted on the site.

So, my suggestion is, go to the “Plugins” folder (windows/or any OS file manager/Explore) and delete or rename one by one and check the site on the browser.

    Let me know what happened!

    Hi James @macmanx,

    I cannot see individual plugins.

    Re Fahim @fahimmurshed,

Not sure if I know how to do it, but I will explore and try this weekend.

    Best

Go to Plugins > Add New in your Dashboard and search for any plugin to install, like “health check”.

You don’t need to activate it, just try to install it.

What error do you see when you try to install it?

I can install any new plugins – it is not the problem.
They are just not visible – I mean the plugins page does not show the plugins.

    That’s … very odd.

If the debug mode doesn’t get you anything conclusive, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I suspect this could be a function conflict (which would be introduced by another plugin or a theme function).

    Hello Umit,
Don’t worry. My friend James already told you the solution. Kindly follow that.

    Good luck 🙂
