Plugins Not Showing on Home Static Page

    HI,

    Just installed this. I am using a static page as my home. I have installed plugins/widgets (social media networks, twitter, newsletter subscribe). All of these show up on every page BUT the home static page.

    If I change the home page to load the blog, then it shows up. If I create a new static page as the home page; again, no widgets/plugins.

    How can I get them to show up on the home static page?
