# Plugin's not compatible with Jetpack Carousel?

 * Hello,
 * When I have File Gallery 1.7.5.3 running with Jetpack Carousel, the Carousel’s
   lightbox functionality won’t work. That is, I click on the image and the browser
   goes to the image, attachment page, etc.
 * Maybe there’s a setting that I’ve missed, but after looking over the options 
   in File Gallery I gave up and deactivated it. Is there something I’m missing?

 * [@cr-1357](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cr-1357/): they’re not currently
   compatible because Carousel “bails” if the default gallery shortcode handler 
   is overridden (which is the case with File Gallery).
 * You can disable File Gallery handling of the shortcode by unchecking the first
   option under “File Gallery”, on the media settings page in WordPress admin.
 * I’ll add a check for Jetpack Carousel in the next version and force it to load
   if it’s active. Thanks for the heads up 🙂
