# Plugins not Activating

 * Recently I’ve been trying to add new plugins, but they don’t activate.
 * I’ve tried with a number of new ones, all with the same result.
 * When i click ‘activate’, the page loads and shows the typical ‘Plugin activated’
   text.
 * But the plugin still shows as ‘inactive’ and I cannot use it.
 * Any ideas?
 * Thanks
 * ps: Similarly, I cannot seem to deactivate any plugins that were already active
   prior to this problem either.
