Plugins listing behind proxy

    I’m using multi-site and I’m behind a proxy. When I am logged in as the network admin I can update WP just fine (updated to 4.4.2 just a few minutes ago). But when I go to the plugins page I get:

    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    Seems like something in there isn’t using the proxy settings maybe? I’m trying to go through the core code to see if I can find anything but never having looked at that code it’s pretty intimidating.
