# Plugins Keep Getting Deactivated

 * **On [http://www.mattjennings.net/](http://www.mattjennings.net/) all of my plugins
   keep on randomly getting deactivated when I don’t want them to. How can I ensure
   that my WP plugins will always be activated unless I manually deactivate them?**
 * I’m running WP 4.0.1 and below are the plugins I have installed and had to manually
   activate myself again:
 * Akismet
    Autoptimize Block Bad Queries (BBQ) Crayon Syntax Highlighter Error 
   Log Dashboard Widget Exclude Pages from Navigation Google XML Sitemaps Hotfix
   Media Vault Obfuscate E-mail Plugin Organizer Remove query strings from static
   resources Ultimate Category Excluder Unattach and Re-attach Media Attachments
   UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore Use Google Libraries Wordfence Security WordPress
   Importer WP Super Cache – Clear all cache WP Super Cache
 * When I go to my Dashboard the Error Log Dashboard Widget Plugin displays a “No
   errors found” message.
 * I configured the paid UpdraftPlus plugin ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/))
   to backup all files on [http://www.mattjennings.net/](http://www.mattjennings.net/),
   including the MySQL database, to another directory on my DreamHost ([http://www.dreamhost.com/](http://www.dreamhost.com/))
   shared server every night and whenever I upgrade plugins.
 * I purchased the full version of UpdraftPlus Premium package ([https://updraftplus.com/shop/updraftplus-premium/](https://updraftplus.com/shop/updraftplus-premium/))
   and the plugin developer to assist yet he said his plugin couldn’t have caused
   the problem.
 * Any help would be appreciated.
