Plugins Keep Disappearing Won't Install Again

    Twice now, after creating a new post, all of my plugins have disappeared.

    I found this thread which seemed to be the same issue:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/all-plugins-disappeared-and-wont-install-again?replies=10, but it did not work for me.

    I had to delete the plugins folder totally, deleting all of the plugins themselves. And create a new plugins folder. At that point, I was able to re-install all of the plugins.

    I am trying to find out why this is happening to ensure it does not continue to happen. I am, by no means, a web developer so fixing this issue is proving to be very time consuming. Please help!

    I had to delete the plugins folder totally, deleting all of the plugins themselves. And create a new plugins folder. At that point, I was able to re-install all of the plugins.

    Have they disappeared since?

    Yes, the next time I made a new post it happened again and I had to do the same process again to fix it.
