 * Please help. My plugins appear to be in the proper directory on the server, but
they do not appear in the dashboard admin area on the plugins page. They have
gone missing. This happened while installing a plugin “extension” offered by
the plugin developer for All In One Event Calendar. Any thoughts as to what is
broken? I already deleted the extension. The directory for the original plugin
without the extension is still on the server.

 * Are all of your plugin files still in tact? If you open the main plugin file
of some of the missing plugins, is there any strange random code at the top of
   the file?
