plugins for a successful site launch

Hi,
I am looking for help on the subject of which plugins can/will help me successfully launch and build traffic to my site. I need suggestions on which ones to get.

I ran across an article titled “11 must have plugins for a wp site” or some such, but did not keep it.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
