Plugins conflict with jquery slider

I use WP ver 3.4 – My website printandwebdesigns.co.uk has a jquery slider on home page and it works fine. When I install any plugin that is using jquery then the slider on home page stops working.
On the following I have another jquery plugin and it was also conflicting with the home page slider, whoever this plugin had a check box to disable this plugin on home page and that did work.
    http://printandwebdesigns.co.uk/?page_id=109

I read a suggestion that may be the jquery files version conflict. My jquery files are in my theme folder. Which ones the plugin are using?

How to over come this problem. I need to install the EU Cookie Law and all the cookie law cookies are using jquery.

    Thanks,
    tpd
