# Plugins can't Create directory

 * New Install apache2 , ubuntu 14.04 ARM
 * Themes/Plugins/Updates can’t install (Cannot create directory).
 * I’ve set the define_FS as Direct in wp-config.php because I don’t have an ftp
   server setup.
 * I’ve tried instructions from many threads on this topic (chown -R www-data , 
   and chmod -R 777), but I always get cannot create directory as the error message.
 * Where can I get a log file or troubleshoot this further?
