# Plugins aren’t activating

 * Everything seems to be working, but I can’t get plugins to activate.
    “Plugin
   activated.” … and yet it still has the “activate” link and the plugin doesn’t
   work. This affects all plugins (those that are pre-installed).

 * I think I downloaded an odd version. I just tried re-installing and the admin
   screen has a lot less options… installation worked without having to manually
   set a password in PHPMyAdmin… and plugins activate just fine.
    Maybe I got confused
   with a nightly build that I had downloaded previously.
