# Plugins and Cookies

 * Perhaps another newbie question, but I’m confused. It appears that some plugins
   are generating cookies. Is that true? What is the purpose and do I have options
   to suppress those? When I run speed analyses on the pages, they suggest multiple
   cookies are being generated.
