# Plugins all disappeared

 * All plugins have disappeared and the widgets that come with the platform all 
   show on all the pages (as opposed to where I decided on their visibility).
 * Reinstall fails because the plugins are still on the server, they just don’t 
   show in the dashboard.
 * The solution that worked yesterday was to use FTP and re-upload with file-override
   the various plugins. This made them reappear in the dashboard and even kept the
   original settings. I was happy.
 * Today, after I had already successfully teaked the content of some pages, I decided
   to get another plugin. Upon going to the add plugin option on the plugins page,
   the page listed all of my plugins with a message that notified that each one 
   of them was disabled. Thereafter, the “installed plug ins” page states that there
   are no plugins installed.
 * What can fix this?
