Hi there. I’ve used WordPress a fair bit but am fairly new to the MS version. I’m wanting to setup a network (which i’ve done) but then only allow certain sites to have access to plugins. Is there way to install a plugin and then choose which of your sites can use it, or do you have to install the plugins manually on each site that you want to use them?

I hope that makes sense, thanks!

Not really. Plugins are, generally, available to all sites (they’re not ACTIVE on all unless they’re in mu-plugins or network activated).

I think this plugin may help you sort out what you want: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/plugin-commander/

that seems to do the trick, thanks very much!
